Growth, Goodwill & Revenue Through Storytelling
I believe great marketing isn’t about outspending competitors — it’s about out-connecting them. For 10 years I led marketing at a public-sector nonprofit competing against well-funded nationals, with lean budgets, a small team, and ideas I had to build the case for carefully. The ones worth building the case for usually worked.
My Approach
I build the relationship first. Audiences that trust you convert more and stay longer.
Every campaign starts with a human truth. Data tells me if it worked. Story tells me why it matters.
I can write the brief, shoot the video, build the HubSpot flow, and read the report — and I have.
Ten years in a resource-constrained org taught me to treat budget limits as creative constraints.
Who I Am
Marketing is a people business dressed up in data.
For 10 years I built campaigns for a public-sector nonprofit — the kind of org where you earn attention rather than buy it, and where the relationship with your audience matters more than any single conversion. That context shaped everything about how I work. I lead with curiosity about the person on the other end. I try to make colleagues feel heard before I push for a decision. I believe the best creative work comes out of environments where people feel safe enough to say the weird idea out loud.
The strategies, the systems, the numbers are real and I'm proud of them. But the thing I care most about is leaving people better than I found them. Audiences, teammates, organizations.

Colleague Feedback
In addition to being an incredible supervisor, Brandon is one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. He approaches every situation with empathic listening, creative problem-solving, light-hearted humor, and deep integrity. He has served as a cornerstone of our company’s culture with personal, humanizing relationships extending across departments that consistently break down siloed ways of thinking. In addition to this, he is a masterful marketing professional with attention to detail, quality output, and creative flair. I could go on and on, but suffice it to say: Brandon is the real deal, and I’m beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to learn from him personally and professionally during my tenure at Michigan Virtual. Thank you, Brandon! 🙏
Brandon is an incredible asset to any organization. I had the privilege of working alongside him for many years and consistently valued his ability to collaborate across departments, listen thoughtfully before offering solutions, and approach challenges with creativity and purpose. His strong follow-through, clear communication, and genuine leadership set him apart. Although we were not in the same department, Brandon was always someone I appreciated working with because of his friendly demeanor and the care and intention he brought to every project.
